The grand finale of the Formula E electric street racing season was a huge hit, and a beautiful day for a race! The season closed on July 15th and 16th with the Qualcomm NYC ePrix. This 9th and 10th round of the 2016-2017 season was a major success and quite the show to see. It was the first FIA-sanctioned open-wheel race to take place within the five boroughs of New York City in modern history, with backdrops for the race including the Statue of Liberty, Lower Manhattan, around Pier 11 and the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.
As always for our Formula E friends and fans, we rolled out the promotional products red carpet! This year’s merch store featured a wide range of fun and fashionable apparel, cool and trending items including Formula E fidget spinners, cooling towels, miniature show cars like the one below, and much more. These items sold out quickly track-side—but you can buy yours here!
